Clemens Armbruster, born in 1967, is a graduate of the Fachhochschule Offenburg (FH) in the course of Mechanical Engineering and also completed the postgraduate course on Business Engineering.
With more than 25 years of experience in sales, key account management and corporate management, he has the sound market and process knowledge necessary for achieving solid growth in Austria. As an expert both in addressing SME initiatives, as well as in the development and expansion of long-term key customer relationships, he runs an outstanding customer orientation – each and every day. This forms the basis for the success of our customers and thus also for the steady development and growth of PROMATIS.
In 2016 he has returned to PROMATIS and is now responsible for the operational business of PROMATIS GmbH in his role as Austrian Country Manager.
Dipl.-Wirtschaftsing. Rainer Mann
Managing Director (CFO)
Rainer Mann, born in 1962, graduated from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT; formerly University of Karlsruhe (TH)) as a graduate industrial engineer specialized in Operations Research / Computer Sciences. As managing partner at PROMATIS enterprise group he heads the company’s operations and the administrative processes.
He has more than 25 years of experience in the fields of Business Management, Strategy, Project Management, Business Processes, and Information Systems. Mann has made himself a name as an expert in realizing large IT-Projects. Defining new Business Processes and Change Management during the implementation of Business Processes in an interdisciplinary environment are further focal points that build up on his work as organizer at Michelin tire plants and his long-term PROMATIS-experience.
Dipl.-Wirtschaftsing. Dr. Frank Schoenthaler

Frank Schoenthaler, born in 1959, has received a Diploma in Business Engineering from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT; former University of Karlsruhe (TU)). His special focus was Operations Research and Computer Science. After many years in research in the field of applied informatics he completed his doctorate in 1989 at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology with Prof. Dr. W. Stucky as a Doctor of Economic Sciences (Dr. rer. pol./Ph. D.).
Dr. Schoenthaler, a Habitual Entrepreneur, has been founding numerous businesses in the consulting and IT sector in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Spain, the UK, the USA and Canada since 1990. As Executive Partner (CEO and Chairman), he is leading the internationally operating PROMATIS enterprise group. With more than 30 years of experience in the consulting and software sector, Dr. Schoenthaler supports professional services, organization and IT solutions with a distinct entrepreneurial thinking and an international focus. He is the author of numerous scientific and user-oriented publications in the area of business processes and information systems and an internationally renowned expert in his field. His involvements in the Oracle Partner Advisory Boards for EMEA enable him to play an active role in the cooperation with strategic partner Oracle.
